We visited this resort and after many hours of sales staff trying to sell us we were finally taken to another room and told that we could purchase a vacation package of 5 vacations for about $1700, of which we would make payments on. We were told by a lady named Sandy that all we had to pay for these resorts stays were the taxes. On the cruises it was taxes and port fees. Myself and my significant other are on fixed incomes and it's difficult for us to afford a vacation. We also like to take our granddaughters along. We explained all this and she still insisted that there were almost nothing to pay when we booked the trips.
I tried to book the 7 day resort stay in Orlando and was expecting to hear maybe $70 or $80 quotes. What I was told angered me. For us to include the two girls it would cost $399 for the week. I went online and found a resort for $339 including taxes. This without any affiliation what so ever. We have already paid them $465. The rest is payable at $100 a month for the next 12 months. We won't even be able to afford a vacation this year because of all this.
What can we do. Can I get out of paying anymore money to them without ruining my credit? To book the vacations we have to deal with someone other than Kings Creek Plantation. We are caught in the middle of Kings Creek and Grand resorts or something like that. This just another Time share scam.
