I specifically called Priceline.com's customer service line to confirm that what the website said is true — if you accept a flight/hotel rate and the time does not work for you to fly, that you can change it for an additional fee. I was told for $68 it is no problem at all to change the outgoing flight.
The flight did not suit me, so I called and requested a change — accepting that I would need to pay the additional $68.
I was then told that there was no record of me, my call or that it was even possible to do this.
The customer service person sounded weary and wary when she answered the call... Now I know why... They have to fabricate the truth to keep their jobs and listen to the wrath of the customers who have been hoodwinked.
My advice, don't use Priceline.com
