I worked for this company for over a year. I had earned vacation time and it was approved for the first week in July. While I was in the airport over a thousand miles away, on the way home, I called in for my schedule and was told I no longer worked for the company as the manager who approved my vacation left and the new manager did not know where I was and I did not show up for work. I had worked approx. 20 hours of overtime in the two weeks leading up to my vacation.
I was only paid for 1 week of regular pay... Now while on a temporary job the V. P of Operations called me on my Sprint cell phone (but the hotel could not reach me to find out if I was coming in to work?) to ask me about some $11,000 in charge backs to an extended stay clients Credit Card and ask me to help them with the investigation... This company stiffs me of over $500 in pay and fires me and asks me to help them with an investigation???
