In June we visited Sun Country Travel in Arlington, Tx. We were offred a full scale vacation travel package, but chose not accept the offer. After pressure from the salesman and Mr. Bill Cathey, we persuaded to partake in the Mini Vacation plan. After writing a check for $595.00 and receiving vouchers for a "free" trip to Las Vegas, we have come to discover that there was no possible way that the free trip to Las Vegas was not exactly free. It required a $100.00 deposit and that was to be refunded after travel. After not being able meet the selected dates of travel on 2 occassions, a refund was requested for the $10.. 0 and propmptly sent.
I also discovered that the restrictions for travewl on the other options in the package could not possibly be met in the time frame given to travel. I contacted mini-vactions and requested that the $595.00 be refunded also. At that time I was told that the money would have to be refunded by Sun Country Travel. As of today I have not had any repsonse from Sun Country Travel concerning this matter. I guess my next step is to contact an attorney or the Attorney General of Texas on this matter.
Consumer beware. If you receive a a call from Sun Country Travel, be sure to hang before they can complete the reading of their script.
