We bought 2 tickets on January 25'th to Sri Lanka from Top Holidays, NY and when we arrived at the Airport we were informed that our tickets have been canceled by Top Holidays (Even after we paid in full). Then they connected me to an Emirates agent and they informed me that Top Holidays has canceled my tickets on 1'st of April. So we had to stay in a hotel for two days at our own expense and go through so much trouble and incur many extra expenses while Top Holidays tried to book us in to another flight.
Even the new flight schedule was a nightmare, it even included a ground transit where we had to carry our luggage and go to JFK from La Guadia in a cab. Extra expenses that we incurred include mainly two nights at a hotel, 6 meals per person for two people (12 meals in total), cab ride from La Guadia to JFK as well as other miscellaneous expenses. Other than this I lost two days of paid vacation and had to go through so much trouble for their mistake.
I would like them to issues me a partial refund for my expenses and the trouble. Up to now they have given me only a small amount which was enough to cover part of the expenses. I summarized my problem the best I could and if you need the detailed long version, I could supply that.
