I was reserving a room at a Days Inn for a business trip and got the chat conversation box offering me the Travelers Advantage membership. At first I listened but then declined. After some pushy sales attempts I again declined. I was sent the chat conversation for my records. I didn't notice the $11.00 being charged to my credit card until a couple of months ago. I called and cancelled the account and argued that I never accepted this. I had forgotten about the chat transcript. I was again charged the fee so I called again and cancelled the membership stating I had never agreed to this. Well this week while cleaning out my email folders I found the transcript where it clearly states I am declining the agreement. I called the customer service again today and was instructed to mail my transcript and a letter stating my complaints to the company and an address. I hope this is a legitimate address and I will not stop until this is cleared up. I hope others can see the complaints here and prevent this from happening. I hope Days Inn is aware of their association with this horrible rip off company.
