Well. I was on my way home in the from the local mall last month in a Suburb of Copenhagen, when a man calls me over to him.
I go over to him and i even said "Hi" to him, so he explained a load of crap, i think. Half of it seemed like "made-up-language".
He had a nice car. I think it was a BMW. He had italian plates, said he was on his way to the airport, and needed directions. I began to tell him what way it was. (Very simple, actually). Suddenly he gets out of his car, and opens the trunk. He said that he wanted to give me a gift, for helping him. He says, they were brandnew, from a modelling exhibion or something like that. His said something about Armani, and is sure did smell like it. His whole trunk stank of leather.
He took out a load of clothes, and began saying numbers.
I, being who i am, felt very offended. Did he really think that i was some stupid kid? (I'm 14).
At the time i had a lot of money, around 2000 danish kroner, that's about 400$.
I told him that i only had 500 krones, (100$). He told me that the jacket i pointet at cost's at least 10.000 kroners, (2000$).
So then i told him that i wanted the two shirts, and one more jacket, and that i would give him 500 kroners for those items in total, (100$).
After a lot of weird grump-sounding words, he put his hand out. I gave him the money and quickly took my items.
I was with 3 friends at the time, so i do understand, that he wasn't in a position to steal my money and run back to the car.
I ended up paying 500 kroners, (100$), for 2 jackets, and 2 shirts.
I believe i won that round.
I didn't fall for his manipulating tricks, because my mum has always, and i mean ALWAYS warned me about people like him.
I hope he runs into an undercover police officer one day. (:
