On 10/31/06 my wife booked two nights in this hotel for our tenth wedding anniversary in May. Less than two days later we learned that our house sitter who was to care for our children would no longer be in town. We tried to cancel our booking, at least provisionally, pending being able to make other childcare arrangements, but were told the booking was non-refundable and non-alterable. While I can understand making bookings non-refundable closer to the time, considering this booking is for seven months time and only two days have gone by since it was made this seems totally unreasonable. This cost us over $250.
