Very dissapointed with Gettysburg KOA. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH A LARGE FAMILY! The owner is way to concerend with any noise. It is run it like a prison with the owner or one of his staff standing outside our camp site about once an hour waiting for our children to make noise. I like quiet too but really - treated us like white trash (I'm an Computer Tech) Plus, he was very rude to my children when they were playing at the playground, pool, Ect... And especially rude to me and my wife. I thought the KOA targeted family's? I've enjoyed KOA'S all over the country but this one is definatly off my list in the future! My kids were refering to it as CAMP PRISON!
When we arrived the camp site was much smaller than what we booked. Of course we complained and asked for a larger spot for our 6 person family the owner said "you can make it fit, or you can leave". We only stayed one night and demanded our money back for the remainder of the stay. THANK GOD they actually returned the money as we "ESCAPED"
