I received a call on my cell on the way home from work today from this comapny. They told me I had won $400 in flight vouchers for a recent purchase that could have been from an infomercial, online, or almost anything. I recently had made hotel reservations through AllStay.com so I thought this might have something to do with that.
She wanted me to confirm my address, which she read back to me. It was correct. She then asked me if I was still banking in my city. I said of course.
She then asked me what bank it was. AH HA! I told her I would not give her that information. She asked why not? (are you seriously a telemarketer asking me why I won't give you my banking info over the phone?!) She told me that I could go to their website and see that they were legit, and they would call me back in a week to get me signed up.
Isn;t google a great thing? I went to their web address, but I also googled them, and found usacomplaints.com's notes on them, as well as some other forums. I saw on one other forum, that the lady I spoke with - Julie Tucker (operator ID# 133) - shared the same operator ID with someone else who worked there!
Anyway watch out for this company. They are part of Suntasia it seems, and they rip people off all the time.
Any phone call from a number 727-683-111X is them, and it is a scam.
