Prism - Floridaway scam identity fraud pretext calling phone phishing ripoff

My complaint is the same as the lady from New Jersey filed 6/7/06. I received a phone call from 1-727-683-1112 from a man working with travel agents direct to offer me free airline vouchers and free hotel vouchers. I also asked how he got my name and phone number, and his reply was the same, "I had used my account recently to buy a product that entered me in a promotional drawing.in order to recieve my promotional vouchers, I would need to confirm your bank account number. The shipping & handling fee is $1.95 and we need your number so we can debit your account." At this point he recited my account number to me. I asked him where he got my bank account number from and he repeated the same thing he said before. I received this call on 8/2/06 late in the evening and I was already in bed falling asleep. He then asked me to verify that the number was correct. I stupidly agreed that it my was my correct account number. This man continuted to tell me to give him a password so if I need to call customer service (866) 545-5417), my password would identify me as the person who placed the order.

When I got up today 8/3/06 that phone call came back to mind and I didn't feel good about it at all. I have no idea how I got to the rip off.com website, but when I read the lady from New Jersey's letter I knew I needed to try to contact these people and insist that they remove my personal information from their files and tell them not to contact me again. The first number I called was (800) 853-9982. A man named Jerry answered. I told him why I was calling and he insisted that they had no record of my order in their system. I informed him that on 5/17/06, I was the victim of identity theft and was scammed for a large amount of money and if my info was in their system, he had better remove and had better not access my bank account. I then called each number Ms. New Jersey wrote in her complaint letter. When I called (866) 522-4990, the same man Jerry answered the phone. I recognized his voice and hung up. I then called the other number in Ms. NJ's letter. A recording answered each time and asked me to enter my phone number. Each time it came back with the answer that they had no record of my phone number in their system. Their number was still on my caller ID (727) 683-1112) so I called back the number. I received a recording with 3 options: press 1 if you want to accept the offer; 2 if you want to cancel your offer; or 3 if you want to cancel and not receive any future orders from us. I quickly pressed 3. About 1/2 hour later, a lady called me from Suntasia Inc. (727) 471-0276 (this too is still on my caller ID. She asked me if I had called to cancel my offer and I told her yes and also told her the same thing I told Jerry previously. She apologized and insisted that my information would be removed from their files.

My question is this! If I was previously told when I called each number, that my information was not in their system, why did this lady call me back to ask me if I wanted to cancel my order?!

Be afraid! Be very afraid! Satan is walking this earth looking to devour God's people and destroy their lives.
