Sat through a three hour presentation by a company selling another scam in Chicago Illinois to get a (free) 3 day, 2 night vacation in Las Vegas or Orlando. When I told them that I did not want to spend $15,000 that night to become a member but I was told I still would receive the vacation offer.
I sent in the US Postal money order for $100, and submitted my request for the time I wanted to go on my trip. MVI marketing responded several weeks later indicating the time I wanted was not available.
I checked off that I wanted to receive a refund of my deposit and I wrote on the request that I wanted it to be a certified postal check like they required or I would accept a cashier's check and to this day the company has not responded!!!
I have sent a second request in writing for a refund. This company had no phone number listed on any of the literature they provided to me and the only way I was able to find a phone number was going on the internet and finding it by other people that were ripped off.
I have called the company today and spoke to a person who got very upset when I informed her that the company is on the internet for the ripoffs to others. She told me I would receive a company check not a certified postal check and not a cashier's check and it would be mailde next week. They are a scam and have poor customer service.
