I got a phone call a few days ago saying I had won a vacation trip with Ramada Plaza Resort - Orlando/Ft Lauderdale. I was told I would receive an email plus a phone call. Well, I did both..
The Email came from a Yahoo/Gmail account... Weird. Ramada cannot get any better mailer? THen I got a phone call. The person was very polite telling me all I had to do was to pay the taxes and some other things... I could also get other trips at the same time...
They gave me a bunch numbers and registrations and all and even the name of the person who called (Brian Guzman employee 902). Told me he was from the Plaza.
When I told him I would not give him my credit card number, he got excited and asked me if I would say I pass the trip to someone else. (All this call was highly secured and recorded...)... I said yes... Then I traced the call back 905-595-0631... This is in Toronto...
I think I will pass this info to the RCMP as well...
