After numerous attempts since Sept. Of to obtain a refund for the $100.00 "Good Faith Refundable Deposit, " a check was finally received by me dated January 6, and postmarked January 12. The check was drawn on Platinum Bank, Brandon FL 33511 by MINI VACATIONS, INC., TRAVEL AGENT ACCOUNT, P.O. Box 223, Brandon, FL, 33509.
After cashing this check, it was returned by our bank marked "ACCOUNT CLOSED, DO NOT PRESENT AGAIN."
Attempts to reach MVI using (800) 566-8281 gives a recorded message to try the call again, and another MVI number (813) 769-4203 number informs that the number has been "disconnected or is no longer in service."
In attempting to obtain a refund, I spoke with Jane, Connie, and lastly, Jay on Jan. 3.
I intend to file complaints with the state and local Attorney Generals in Florida and would urge others to do the same.
