In Cabo San Lucas, if you hire a private ferry boat to take you to Lovers Beach, I recommend paying one way at the time.

We paid for return from beach to beach but the boat we hired never came back on time. We had to hire another boat to make it on time to our cruise ship... The ride was 20US for return trip. The day before, we paid $1 US for a return trip from Mazatlan to Stone Island... Quite a difference for a ride similar the next day... It cost us $30.US in Cabo San Lucas. No hard feelings... Just beware and go for a ONE way... Boats are coming and going all day long..
