N August, through Expedia, I purchased airline tickets for my wife and 3 year old daughter. My credit card was charged for the tickets back in August and I received the paper tickets shortly after that. I received e-mail notification the day before they were to leave (in October) from Expedia to contact the office as there is was a change in the flight.

I was told that someone at Expedia had neglected to book the flight (even though we had actual paper tickets and several e-mail confirmations) and that I would have to repurchase the tickets. I was then told that I would have to pay an additional $200.00 for the tickets because of the short notice and price changes.

I repurchased the tickets directly through Great Lakes (which oddly enough was even cheaper that what Expedia was asking me to pay) I was told by a useless and so-called customer service representative that I had to return the worthless tickets before they would refund my credit card for MY MONEY. I have returned the tickets but now I am being told that it could take up to two months to get MY MONEY because the money must be refunded from Great Lakes. Now correct me if I am wrong but if the tickets were never purchased how come Great Lakes is issuing the refund?
