My husband and I called Holiday Inn in Timonium, MD to check rates on rooms. We ended up staying at the Hunt Valley Marriott instead the same evening. Two weeks later I received a bank statement with $400.00 in charges from Holiday Inn for 2 rooms.
I never booked the rooms.
They had my card on file from a previous stay and decided to charge me for the rooms I inquired about. I never spoke to Holiday Inn, my husband did, yet they used my charge card.
They said that they had a copy of the phone call. I asked to hear the tape and they said NO.
I put a charge back through the bank to stop payment and now I am disputing this mess with my bank.
