I was at a local festival and I walked by a booth in which people could enter a contest to win a cruise vacation. I signed up and the other day I was contacted and they said that they got my name from the entry at the festival.
What I am upset about is that 1) they never said it was non-refundable 2) never explained how to sell the package (which i would like to do since I cannot be refunded the money I was jipped out of) and most importantly 3) from what i was lead to believe is that the whole cost of what I was gettin was something like 17 dollars.
I'm not stupid, if I had heard that I was going ot be charged for $400, OBVIOUSLY I would have said umm sorry no thanks and hung up. I even told them after I realized that I had made the mistake that I didn't have that type of money in my account (which I don't). So when they asked me to reconfirm my purchase I hung up... Yet when I checked my account the next morning there it was, $400 taken out of my account.
I will NEVER NEVER recommend these people to ANYONE and if they ever try to scam me again, I'm going to tell them (and i would recommend you do the same) what thieving, dishonest, deceitful, fraudulent, shameful people they are. You people really should be ashamed of yourselves. Aand by the way you do speak rather fast and unclear so it IS easy for there to be a misunderstanding and/or miscommunication.
