WE have just see a newspaper article in the irish times warning the public about rogue holiday operators. The office of the director of consumer affairs in ireland said people receiving unsolicitated phone calls from american company offering free or special offer holidays. She said the companies knew the name and address of consumers. Seems as if they offering a genuine prize of cruise that had been won.
We just started searching the internet and saw the reports of this company. Last year in April we received a telephone call from Imperial majesty cruise vactions to say we won a holiday and then we ended up paying USD898 to imperial majesty Cruise vactions in florida for a holiday 1 week with an option of a 2 night cruise and i week in fort lauderdale.
Yesterday we phoned and booked to go on September. Today we saw the article in the newspaper. Can someone advise what steps we take now to try and reclaim our money.
