I received a voucher from a travel agency training program I participated in (Evolution and Archer). I had to pay $12 just to get the form, then another $50, which I was promised would be reimbursed after the vacation. However, I was never able to book because there were too many stipulations. I had to fax my requested dates; I could not email them or communicate them over the phone.
Then, I was told I had to do a 90-minute timeshare tour and pay another $50 in booking fees, to which I agreed. Later, they told me I didn't qualify because I don't make enough money annually and my husband wasn't going with me. I said I would need my $50 back, but she flat out said, "No, that's not how it works. You can't get that back unless you fulfill your stay." She started mocking me when I told her it was a scam and that they would get sued.
