Yeah, I have been ripped off by this Travel Advantage, Once i got the information, it wasnt at all like was told on line, that before the one month free trial was up you could cancel and there would be no farther charges.
I called before the one month free trial was up to cancel, i was assured it was canceled and i would not be charged. But this morning i was checking my account balance on line and found i have been charged $9.99.
So again i called the company, they say oh no we have no records of you cancelling and wanted my membership number well i didnt have that cause i through all that away when i assumed everything was cancelled, so again, i said i wanted it cancelled then they start making all these other offers for a free trip, free gas, free car rently so on, I said no i dont want any of that, I just want this cancelled i dont want to be charged for this again, and i want the $9.99 that was taken from my account back.
She said it will be refunded and account cancelled we shall see, but i did call my bank and filed the claim and told them what i have been through so they are investigating it.
And they suggested if they try to charge again to have my card changed, but she said hopefully after investigation they wont likely be charging my card again,
I am highly recommending No one regardless what type of deals and offers they make you not to get involved with this company they are a rip-0ff big time and just take your money and wont let you cancell.
