My family and I attended a Diamond Resorts International presentation in Las Vegas, NV and became an owner of the timeshare.
As I read through the contract and researched your services, I realized I do not want to be a timeshare owner and wish to revoke the contract.in the Diamond Resorts U.S. Collection Purchase and Security Agreement document, it states that I have 5 days to revoke my contract.
The Purchase and Security Agreement document on page 9 states that The purchaser of a timeshare may cancel, by written notice, the contract of sale until midnight of the fifth calendar day after the date of execution of the contract The right of cancellation may not be waived. On the same page, the document states The developer shall, within fifteen (15) days after receipt of the notice of cancellation, return all payments made by the purchaser.
If you are like me who luckily have nothing to do on New Year day beside reading a God Forsaken contract. You might have a chance to revoke it if you bought it 5 days ago. Good Luck and I hope you get out of this trap.
