I obtained a call-in early January from the lady who stated she was with AT&T (my present regional and LD company). She stated that these were supplying a discount to present clients to maintain them due to some fresh opposition. Easily needed the discount on my providers I had a need to make sure I needed it in a saving. I verbally confirmed together with her many times that I'd be sticking with AT&T which she was with AT&T.
Fast-forward to my next telephone bill - that has $180 in costs from SILV COMMUNICATIONS. "Whois that?" I ask myself - after which punch myself about the brow! Duh. I am wiser than this... I declare
I called the client support quantity, clarify the individual who created the saving lied and explained these were with AT&T and that I might stay with AT&T. The support person stated that because I'm registered I'm up the creek when it comes to a return. I informed her to stop the support and got a verification # for that. (I suppose they did not completely lay in my experience - I still have AT&T long-distance IN ADDITION TO the SILV edition!)
And So I named AT&T customer support, who had been excellent and place the costs into challenge for me personally. I actually donot need to spend that area of the statement while they're in challenge. We will need to observe how this all calculates... She did make notice of the truth that they fooled me by informing me these were with AT&T. I will guess that does not create AT&T happy.
