I purchased a set of golf clubs from Best Buy Golf Supply on the internet. The clubs come with a lifetime warranty from breaking due to normal usage. My driver's head snapped of while hitting a golf ball. I contacted the company and they said they would be happy to repair/replace it. I sent it to them on June 17th, with them receiving it June 23rd at 11:31am.
I contacted them on several occasions as to the status of my club. When I finally talked to a human, after leaving several messages and sending several e-mails through theit site, I was told my club was shipped back to me August 2nd. I called again and was told it was sent out the 6th and I requested a tracking number for the package, to which I was told, "i do not have access to the shipping software, but give me your email address and we will send it to you." I provided my email address and to date (8-16-04) I have not received a tracking number, nor my club. I have tried 4 times since my last contact with them (8-9-04) to get in touch with them, one email and 3 phone voice mails, but still have received no response.
I am extremely frustrated, and not until today did I know that their BBB membership had been revoked. I also learned today, that when I originally purchased my clubs, summer that this company was illegally displaying your seal of approval on their site. Had I know this prior, I most likely would have found another company to do business with.
I have found that the only way to talk to a human being is to choose the sales prompt in the voicemail. I guess that is the only line they answer, although it appears they stopped answering that one too as of lately.
