Dave Smith, Myrtle Beach wave hockey Beware of this person! In 2010 - 2011 he took money and overcharged kids to play hockey and then kept the profits while running funds through a non profit organization!

Beware of Dave Smith of the Myrtle Beach Wave.in 2010 - Smith overcharged participants in his Myrtle Beach Wave hockey program for pants and jerseys he had received at discount. He charged people $200 for what he paid a little over $100 in a non profit program.

Smith then, held fundraisers and ran the funds through the non profit MBX hockey program with the help of Nora Hajnal. Hajnal cut smith a check for a tournament and Smith then kept the remainder of the funds, promising the kids (9,10 year olds) a team party which HE NEVER HELD

Dave Smith with the helo of Nora Hajnal, used fundraised money for himself and embezzled those funds along with the funds from jerseys and pants.

Do not play for Dave Smith or his program, the Myrtle Beach Wave. When it was found out what Nora Hajnal did she was FIRED from the MBX Board for misappropriation of funds.

Anyone who takes money with a fundraiser and then promises kids something and keeps the money is NOT TRUSTWORTHY! Smith is also unemployed and does not work.
