On 12/30, I purchased a membership at this location near my girlfriend's home in Easton, PA. On the morning of 12/31 we decided to end our relationship. At that time I packed all my belongings and headed to the LA Fitness in Easton. I spoke with the salesman who sold me the membership and explained that I wanted to reverse the transaction being that I was leaving PA and moving back home to NJ. The salesman understood the situation and agreed to reverse the transaction. I surrendered my LA Fitness ID card to him and he entered the refund into the computer and explained I would receive an email confirmation. I left thinking my membership had been refunded to my credit card. Upon checking my statement, I realized that it had not been canceled and that to date I have been charged $275. I contacted LA Fitness and they would not process a refund without documentation. The salesman provided no documentation.
