As a marathon runner, I have received many of the "$500 gift certificates" from this firm. I made the mistake of using $89 and will never see my money again.
After my wife placed the order, she immediately called and cancelled it. She was told that since she pressed "enter" we would have to wait until the product arrived. No worries, however, as there would be a free return shipping label inside the box for expedited delivery back to the "warehouse."
Of course, the product arrived quickly, but there was no "free return label." When we called them back they indicated that their policy was now to cover only $3.00 of one's return cost. OK, I can live with that minor BS.
30 days later I have not received a refund. All calls to their customer service area go to voice mail and I have never received the courtesy of a return call. My wife got through today, and was told that "we have the sunglasses you returned but the are in the (infamous) warehouse" and our "staff" are to busy for the holidays to be processing refunds. Mmmm, thaat's funny. Their website indicates " If theyre not perfect for you, well refund the retail price (and service fee) you paid instantly upon your return of the product." Must be the warehouse and the big-time operation that leads them not to have enough customer service agents to answer a phone!
Take a lesson from me — STEER CLEAR OF THIS FIRM!!! Runners — spread the word, quickly.
