I wish to report an incident that occured with Middletown Nitros. Unknown to me my grand daughter's account was behind in payments. I take my grand daughter to her practice twice a week.
Yesterday (10-12-11) I was approached by the owner that my grand daughter had to sit practice out due to her mother not paying. This practice was punshment to a child who is not responisble for the bill.
They could have allow my grand daughter to do her practice and made me aware of the problem. I was alo informed of this not in privite but where the families sit and wait for the children.
I spoke to the other co-owner and it was made clear to me its all about the money over a childs feeling and being told they can't practice.in questioning my grand daughter she was only told to ask me about why she couldn't practice. Its clear to me their business practice needs to change. I understand its a business and you must pay for their service. Since it was clear to the owners I was not the mother they could have allow her to practice ask me to come to their office and explain the problem. I would have understood and handle the problem. When I voiced my dissatisfaction of not allowing my grand daughter to practice the comment made this is a business!
I really enjoyed the Nitros and now I have no respect for these people.
I notice in the last report posted here about seeing children crying I have noticed and wonder why I think I know now...
