Professional Fitness Wont cancel contract after 7 letters being sent

About a year ago I signed a 6 month training contract for biweekly sessions ($50/mo). After it expired it went to month to month billing.in March I wantedto go more often so I signed a weekly contract ($100/mo) with my new bankingaccount info. During that time I was also in the process of switching banksbecause husband and I opened a joint account. The next day I sent a certifiedletter to cancel the biweekly contract. I kind of expected to get billed forApril because I sent the letter less than 30 days before the next billing date. I called several times to make sure they got the letter with no clear answer.

Iwaited until all my auto withdrawals came out on the 15th of May and closed theold bank account. I called to change the billing on my gym membership. What Ithought was a totally different company then the trainer. I called around the18th of May and changed the billing on my husbands gym and my gym membership. End of May comes I get billed for both of my training contracts. I called tofind out why. They told me they must have gotten the card number off the newcontract. I told them they never had permission to charge my new card for thebiweekly contract. I was told they would look into it and call me back. Neverheard anything; called and left several messages for a supervisor who is alwaysunavailable.

A few weeks later we get a letter in the mail my husbands gymmembership didnt get charged to us. I called to find out why. The gal I spoketo about changing the billing on GYM memberships changed my GYM and my biweeklytraining contract. Not the two GYM memberships like I asked, the biweeklytraining contract was never even brought up in our conversation; she neverbrought up any training contract.inever even mentioned it because I didnt realize one had something to do withthe other; besides when I spoke to her I was under the impression the biweeklywas cancelled and the weekly was all set. The guy I talked to that time was toldme to send a letter to their address. So I sent a certified one; at this pointthis is my 5th letter about this.

On July 9th I wrote my bank to reverse the May and Junecharges. I took a copy to the gym for the head trainer as well as mailed one toboth address so 7 letters have been sent. The bank has reversed and refunded the May and June charges and I amtaking a letter to them today to reverse the July charge. At this point I am beyond livid I wrote two different companies 7 letters tocancel as well as numerous phone calls to cancel a contract with no response. Every time I call I get told to send a letter; well that doesnt work and I dontfeel I should have to send anymore letters. I have sent 4 certified letters and 3 uncertified letters, left 13voicemails for supervisors and nothing in return.
