Mossberg made a defective shotgun and recalled it. I have never had to go through so much red tape before in my life. I have sent and received numerous emails and called 3 hotlines trying to get instructions on what to do to have the defective shotgun repaired and returned to a safe condition. I was given different phone numbers to call each time and felt that i received nothing more than THE RUN AROUND. As the owner of the shotgun, this process has been more than it's worth to me. I would not recommend anyone purchasing a shotgun from Mossberg because of their poor customer service in correcting a defective weapon that, if malfunctioned prior to my knowledge of the recall, could have taken me from my wife and children.
