What a shame! This place has the potential to be a beautiful resort! It is obvious that golf course maintenance is not part of the operating budget.
Whoever is running this place is really missing a great opportunity! The area is pretty, there is a motel (bad one but still), pool, a bar, and a restaurant on site which is perfect for golf package outings. The motel is suspect, the organization of staff is abysmal, but the golf course is a simply a dirty rotten shame. It is obvious they have no intention of spending money on the golf course!
There are deep holes ranging in size from 12 inches to six feet in diameter everywhere throughout the fairways. The greens are mowed 2-3 times per week with no pattern or plan. The pins get changed whenever someone shows up who knows how to do it (every few days), and the sand traps are truly a hazard because they do not maintain them at all! There is not a single out of bounds stake, not a single red or yellow hazard stake, and there are huge areas of bare ground and rocks in play!
It is obvious that this resort is geared toward people who dont play golf and want to come out for a weekend to get away!
Do not bring people here who are competitive golfers or who appreciate a good golf course because they will go away upset!
Last but not leastfor a terrible golf course, poorly managed staff, run down motel, and an all you can eat buffet, the price is way too high!
