When buying a franchise you are supposed to receive some type of competitive advantage.
That may be advertising, brand recognition or vendor relationships.
Pro Golf does not provide you with any advertising help whatsoever. Outside of the southeast & west coast they have absolutely no brand recognition.
Pro Golf cannot guarrantee you accounts with major golf industry vendors such as Titleist, Footjoy, TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping Cleveland & Nike.
Over 65% of all golf balls sold in the United States are manufactured by Titleist.By far the best selling product in any specialty off course golf shop. Most new Pro Golf stores do not carry Titleist golf balls.
In the year 2004 Pro Golf opened 20 new stores. Only 4 of those stores are still in business today. Many former Pro Golf owners are now personally bankrupt.
