I signed my children up to play select basketball with Team Fort Worth and paid the full price of $400 each. The majority of players hadn't paid a thing. Those who hadn't paid and weren't at practices played more than the few who practiced and paid. They took advantage of the parents who paid.
They claim to train and help every child in the program. They can't train what they don't know. The players were promised trips around the US. Never happened! Parents have paid travel fees, worked tournaments, and did fundraisers yet they claim to have no money for travel.
They have rules players are suppose to follow upon signing a "Letter of Commitment, Rules and Agreement Acknowledgement". The didn't enforce their rules. It was a joke.
At the tournaments they sponsor the workers at the doors are rude and admission and concession prices are higher than anyone else's.
Cynthia Guillory, the director, is a liar, overly aggresive, and down right ugly to people and the participates. Save your money and invest it in an organization that will truly help your child grow and become a better basketball player.
