On December of I called Nascar Track pass and spoke with Bob. I requested that my account be cancelled and closed. I explained that I could no longer afford the service, and that I hardly ever used it. I was told that the service would be cancelled and that no further charges would be made.
On February of a charge was billed to my Credit card of $79.95. I again called Nascar Track pass, and told them that I had cancelled the account and requested that the charge please be removed from my card. I spoke with Corey, and was told that the money would be refunded and that they were sorry that it was charged. I received a ref#, and corey's ID number.
On April 4th, the charge was rebilled to my account. I called Nascar Track pass for the third time. I spoke with John and his supervisor. Both told me that since I did not call be February I was still being charged. I explained that I called in December and spoke with Bob. They claimed they conviently had no record of my December call. I became very angry, realizing that they were trying to make money from me, for a service I had cancelled and rarely used. I argued with the supervisor for several minutes, upon which he hung up me.
I have contacted my Credit Card Company, and I am in the middle of disputing the charge.
I love Nascar the sport, but this 'Track Pass' is a huge ripoff. They have terrible customer support, and do not stand behind their customers.
The actual 'Track pass' service isn't worth the money. That is one of the reasons I cancelled.
So if you are thinking about getting this service, you may want to give serious thought to it. They do not stand behind their customers.
