Xteme Scooters (in Iowa) Dealer: website Scootercatalog.com (Ohio) Could not send my MSO/Title Newton, Iowa

Oct. 21 I purchased a 50cc Xtreme scooter from the internet, paid for it by credit card and it was drop shipped to my son's address within the time limit set. Per instructions you are to call or send the vin # to the company if you need a MSO/title. My son's scooter arrived on the 27th (lacking instructions on how to put the front wheel on, brakes (bleed them) adjust the brake pads and install the battery. When I sent the required information to get the title it did not come, I called the only number on the site and a man named Peter said to call the wharehose that shipped the scooter, they have the title. I called and called no answer. Nov. 19th I called and got in touch with customer service and they said there was a problem with the title, when the containers where shipped from China the MSO/title were not sent with the scooters, they were trying to resolve this matter and asked me to give them till the 3rd of Dec. (meanwhile my son gets a job and now is having to beg rides from friends with a new scooter sitting outside his appartment). On Dec. 4th I called and customer service said they still did not have the paperwork. I asked to speak to the Gen. Mgr and was given back to customer service. This same person said to wait some more but agreed that when it did arrive that it would be send Fed EX considering the delay. (also 2 months of insurance paid for a sitting scotter). Called on 8th of Dec. And was told that the paperwork was sent 1st class, I said what happened to Fed Ex. Customer service person said we sent it 1st class and that she did not have the routing numbers but would call me back, yea, right! My son checked every day and nothing in the mail, nothing from Fed. Ex. Today 12/15/08 I called Xtreme again and talked to the same lady and she said she could not believe my title was not received, I asked about the Fed Ex and still she repeated we mailed it first class... I asked if they could complete a duplicate and she told me there would be a $25.00 fee to do that and have it Fed Ex'd to my son. She tells me that I purchased through the internet and the dealer has some responsibility to me and gave me his name. I called Peter and he said only the wharehouse ever has the titles to these cycles. If I would call customer service and order that replacement and have them charge it to his account. The website dealer was not aware of me not getting my title until my email to xtreme scooters through his web page was received last friday where I told them I was going to contact the Attorney Gen. And the BBB.

DO NOT BUY FROM XTREME... ALSO, the bike fell over within 1 week and the kickstand broke off, bad weld... This scooter was not a cheap one $1049.00 for a 50cc electric start 110 miles to a gallon of PREMIUM gas. I could have purchased one from other dealers but the weight limit on this bike was so much better and in the picture it show's 13" tires, when it came the tire size was 10"... Mad in Alabama and still waiting in Tennessee for a TITLE
