Boy I wish I new of this website a couple of months ago! I am in charge of several large boat dealers throughout Texas. I contacted Texas Fish & Game Magazine and spoke to Ardia Neves the owner (Roy Neves is her husband). She sent me very expensive rate cards. I then, like the other writers was contacted by another salesman out of the Dallas area. He told me completely different rates and said "If I bought from him he would let me meet Chester Moore" one of their writers, " which I was pleased about. So I asked how to proceed and then Roy Neves (I believe) calls me and says the guy in the Dallas area is not working for them and to purchase from Ardia Neves.
At this point (I am getting very angry) I go to their website to see if they were the real owners. What a (If you will pardon the expression) piece of crap their website is. Just like one of the other writers mentioned nothing is functional and its all out of date. And, yes it says Texas Lakes and Bays
is a newly released product. Hell I bought mine last March!!!
The bottom line is dishonest sales people, dishonest owners (10 different price list) poor content as of late and HORRIBLE lies told to a simple guy who just wanted to place an ad in a magazine.
Believe me there are plenty more out there for Texas, I bought from Gulf Coast Connections and love the results.
Like the othe guy said "spend your $4.00 bucks on coffee, even if you don't like it, its a better investment then Texas Fish & Game Magazine.
