AS everyone mentions this magazine is a complete fraud. For one, I sent in a little hunting product I make for their "Texas Tested" section. I sent the product to Ardia Neves and she said she would have one of her "writers do a complete review on it' "IF" I bought an ad. This is suppose to be free and an independent service they provide, or at least that's what your told, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY WARNING! So I bought a small ad, which BY THE WAY as I had read in other usacomplaints.com, Ardia Neves sent me a ton of weird and different price list. She then called me up and asked for a free product of mine! Said she needed it for one of her writers (This was in addition to the one I sent). So I like a dummy sent her a free one.
Well the time came for me to read about my product in their magazine newest edition. I was very excited. What did I find. They had done nothing but cut and paste out of MY website information about the product. A month later I still have no calls on the ad. So I lost my product, payed a ton of money for an ad that didn't work and was suppose to be tied to my "Texas Tested." I was so upset I called Roy Neves her husband and he just started yelling at me about how bad business was and that they had given my product away (I tried to get it back)!! To whom he had no idea. I called Ardia Neves back and she actually lied and said I never sent her anything.
Texas Sportsman this was my bad as there is a ton of information out there about how bad this magazine and its owners Roy Neves and Ardia Neves do business. I feel for the people that work there much less ALL the people that
have been scammed by them. The word is out, Texas Fish & Game Magazine is a FRAUD!!
