On 13 October I ordered a pentax binoculars listed on the aaa web-site at $194.69 (plus shipping and taxes. I got a confirmation by e-mail and then got a note to call them to confirm. When I called they asked if I wanted and case and a USA guarantee. They said it only came with a "world wide guarantee". I said no, just send the binoculars. Then I waited!
I called back and e-mailed several times over a three week period... On 5 November they finally gave me a tracking number and I got the item a few days later... But wait!
What did they charge me after confirming the price of 194.69 by e-mail: $229.69 plus tax and shipping. Plus $35 for nothing.
When I e-mailed a complaint they replied that they were not authorized to give refunds and I would have to call the refund dept. When I did that they said they could not refund the over charge... And that my only recourse was to send everything back. How do I know that I would ever see my money if I did that?
Don't buy from this company.
