Golden Soccer
Very rude and un-professional

Has anyone heard of Golden Soccer in Carrollton, TX? Well, if you have and you shop there, shop no more. They are VERY RUDE and un-professional. I'm begging you stay away!

My team purchased some uniforms from this store, which the owner is always there. Old man, looks mean and is rude! Anyways, we spent close to $1,000.00 a couple of weeks ago and my Assistant Coach, Coach Elry, warned me about him. He kept telling me he was rude and acted like he didn't need our business, just his demeanor. I said no way coach I think he's just busy. So I went ahead with the transaction and purchased uniforms from him.

In order to be tax-exempt I had to give him a copy of my tax-exempt form. So I hand the form to him so that he can make a copy, but instead he just starts writing on it like it's his copy and I was about to say something but I told coach, "It's ok, I'll just have to look for the original in my house and make another copy of it." That was that didn't make a big deal about it.

Well, I went back a week later to purchase some socks for my team, we're talking about 18 boys, etc. So I go to the cash register and let them know I'm tax-exempt and that the owner has a copy of my form. The lady calls the old man and he's like NO, I can't do it. You have to bring the form in again. Ok... So I try to explain to him that he messed up my only copy but he blows me off and doesn't pay attention to me.

How many of you have used a tax-exempt form? I have, and every other business makes a copy of it, keeps on file, so that when you go back and purchase something, they can pull it from the file. I then tried to explain to him that he had kept my copy of my tax-exempt form and that I couldn't find my original. He basically said too bad! I was just there a week prior, spent close to $1,000.00, he knew it, remembered who I was, knew I wasn't charged taxes, but couldn't use the prior form. Does that make sense? So I said fine and all I stated was, "I can't believe that you can't use the copy you already have on file." I then just left.

I guess I didn't learn my lesson because I went back into the store today, like a dumb butt! I didn't have my form because I can't locate it but was prepared to pay the taxes because I needed a net for the team.

So I walk in and he tells me, "I will not sell anything to you." I was like excuse me? He stated, "I have the right to refuse you service." Now, this is a guy two weeks earlier took the $1,000.00 freely for my teams uniforms and didn't refuse service then. So I mentioned it to him that I had spent $1,000.00 earlier in his store, he responded, "I don't need your money or your business!" He then goes on, on how I made a big deal about the form, which I really didn't, and he did mess up my only copy of the dumb form! I tried to explain to him that I was trying to talk to him but he ignored me and was rude. He was not understanding my problem or issues and then he just walked off and left me standing. I asked him one more time, "are you not going to sell me the net?" He ignored me, walked to the back and didn't not respond. I then looked at what seems to be his son and he grins and laughs like it's funny and states. "he's not going to sell you a net." At that point, I said that it was fine and that it was a shame that they did not know how to treat customers.

If you own a business you know that customers are very important, that every customer is important because they can make you or break you.
