I purchased two (2) "Deluxe Bentshaft" canoe paddles that were suppose to have been made by Langford Canoe Company. The paddles were to have been made from Poplar and Walnut, a picture of the paddles as they were suppose to appear was present on the EBAY site and on the Langford Canoe Company Website.
The paddles were received nine (9) weeks later, and were not at all like their description or image as illustrated on either Website. Todd @ AZTEK Marketing International, refused to pay for the paddles shipping back, and threated legal action if I didn't lift the Stop-Payment through Pay-Pal.
Todd felt if I didn't like them, that I could return them ($30.00 shipping each way, $60.00 total). When I contacted Langford Canoe Company, they indicated the paddles were manufactured by them, but they wouldn't comment as to whether they were the "Deluxe", Poplar/Walnut paddles, and that they'll make any paddle for their loose organization of dealers.
Hence, Todd misrepresents the paddles he's selling to his customers as being expensive paddles, that in actuality are really the least expensive paddles he can obtain. I guess that's one way to turn a tidy profit... All I can say is FRAUD!!!
