I am also a victim of this company-everything Shari and the others have said is an acurate description of what I have gone through as well. My business partner and I purchased a 20 store package in April. We were to sell the pillar candles with dsigner bracelets. After doing much research we decided to not use the locator service since we found alot of complaints about them. We were assured that it was easy and it would be no problem getting stores.
After we sent in our money we started to go out and line up our stores and what do you know? The very same candle (only with a necklace on it) in the very same display in most of the places we went to. Needless to say we could not get our 20 stores. Also were assured the product was made in the USA-the product arrived with "made in China" right on every tag. The amount of commission we were supposed to pay the stores was wrong-most stores require a higher commission.
The candles were way overpriced, we have lost almost all our stores. Over time the displays have buckled & faded. The candles have started fading and become blotchy. Also about half of the bracelets were made with some kind of stretchy fishing line and they loose their elasticity and wont go back together. We have had to replace bracelets and candles in the few displays we have left.
The claims of income were so overstated its ridiculous. This company has caused so much damage to our lives its unbelievable. Now we have a terrible product, LOTS of it-bad displays, no stores, & a huge debt to repay. What started out to be a plan to help our families have a better life has turned into a nightmare and almost a fulltime job just to try to pay off the debt. We have not recieved a single phone call from this company since they got our money.
All the promises of helping us succeed were lies-once they got our money they wont return our phone calls and about two weeks ago there was another ad in our local paper from them advertising our territory yet again.By the way-our county only has 100,000 people in it so whats the excuse for this one?
