Platinum allowed my home to be damaged and altered by tenants. I made them aware of the damages throughout my year long lease with them. I only got the run-a-round. Phone calls don't get returned & when they do, the company generally either doesn't really address your concerns or tells you they will take care of the issue at move out. They won't take care of any damage at all. I believe the staff must all be related to each other because they all act the same & have zero accountability. They lie with free abandon & are not terribly bright, so their lies generally contradict or are easily seen through by a person of average intelligence.
My property was trashed & Platinum wrote on their inspections the home looked great, despite the fact there was thousands of dollars of damage to both the exterior & interior of the property that a decent property management company would have been repairing all along or would have made right at move out. At move-out, none of the items they claim to inspect each month were trued up. They had an excuse for every bit of damage to the property & blamed most of it on me, the home, age of the home, act of God, or my all time favorite, the item in question just "gave up the ghost".
I also had fixtures stolen from my home & Platinum said they were not ever in the home "because the tenants didn't recall seeing them" & would not be charging the tenants. If you own a home & you care about your property at all, stay far, far away from Platinum Properties, owned by Philip Early & located in Alpharetta GA. I seriously thought about going to a local news station to report this company & I still might, I have video of every inch of the home prior to Platinum managing the property.
The owner of the company has a good sales pitch but once you have put ink to paper, you will never hear from him again. This companies goal is to get your initial lump sum & monthly fee. They will not go to bat for you, will not do what is right or fair & know that the legal fees will be so high for you to fight them, that you will cut your losses & they will continue to get away with their scam business. I saw the post from the person in Cumming & my experience was extremely similar. Don't be fooled by the lawyer rebuttal after his post - they are still weaving their web of lies & given how similar they are to the lies Platinum told me, they clearly have their scam buttoned up.
