I am writing this complaint against Metareward for not fulfilling their obligation in sending me a Sony camcorder.
I signed up with Metareward.com's TopFreeGifts program on June 1st for a "FREE" Sony camcorder. As part of this "free" gift program, I must purchase 4 DVDs from Columbia House DVD at a regular price of $20.00/DVD. On August 3rd, I fulfilled my purchase obligation with Columbia House DVD and was then eligible to receive my "free" gift from the advertizer TopFreeGifts.com.
On September 9th, I cancelled my Columbia House DVD subscription and was told by a customer service rep that they will notify TopFreeGifts.com that I fulfilled my purchase obligation so that I can get my Sony camcorder. Since I cancelled my Columbia House DVD subscription after the required 60 days for gift eligibility, I am now eligible to receive my "free" Sony camcorder that I registered for in June. My unique claim code is ADmrbrcampqzk8818.
To date, I have not received any response to any of the emails that were sent to the advertizer TopFreeGifts.com, a Metareward.com online promotion company. Hence, I am filig a complaint with complaint. I want my "Free" Sony camcorder that I registered and paid for with Columbia House DVD.
