I am a disabled female who has a very low income. For this reason Verizon gives me a special rate. Last month my phone bill was $27.00, $18 more then my usual Bill.
My aide told me it was because of this ESBI charge for voice mail. I have never authorized this company for service nor did I apply for it. There was an 800 number so I paid my bill and proceded to call ESBI. Good luck, it is all automated and you never do speak to a human.
I finally chose my entry that told me if I left my name and phone number the voice mail service would cease within 24 hours. I did as they asked, I also left the same info on the other automated line with the promise that someone would get back to, they never did.
This month my bill came and you guessed it there is a bill for ESBI. I intend on contacting Verizon for letting this company just bill me never checking to see if I was using the service. As for ESBI I don't know what to do. They never return my call.
