Marlo Colston from iCatching Content owes me $750 for writing services I provided to her and she never paid me for accepting. She was billed via PayPal and agreed to pay. After multiple contacts, where she has agreed to pay me, she has never made a payment.
I agreed to lower the bill to $500 and she agreed to pay off the balance by March 15. I have emails from her proving all of this. She has NEVER even made one payment and has become completely unresponsive.
He has a history of doing this, apparently, because her Guru account was closed for complaints from other writers about her hiring them to complete work and then not paying them for it either.
If you are a writer, DO NOT write for her. If you are a client, be aware that she is ripping off the writers she hires to complete your work. I have also been contacted by other writers since posting this information. They, too, have been ripped off by this con-artist.
DO NOT write for her. Her clients should be aware that she is getting your content written by other writers and then NOT PAYING those writers for the work. Essentially, this means that she is selling you content that you CANNOT use because the WRITER owns it until they are paid for the use.
I think what makes me the angriest is that she claims to be this big Christian. Im not sure what bible shes reading from, but no bible Ive ever studied lists stealing and ripping people off as Christian-like behavior!
