Face national models & talent, L.L.C. Model scam ripoff

In the summer of 2002 the said company FACE MODELS & TALENT LlC placed misleading ads on the local radio and in the local newspaper in Toledo Ohio claiming that they were recruting various types of models, including children over the age or four, plus-size models, and hair models.

In response to the ads I went to the hotel where the supposed "audition" would be, along with other unsuspecting persons; over 300 persons were there. Once there they talked with me and told me that I made the "cut" to come back the next day.

That evening those who had "the look" were given a long speech about the "agency" and their ability to represent us as well as their affiliation with certain "merchants, companies and organizations" who were their supposed clients.

We were told that photos and compostite cards were required and that we can use our own photographer but that they can provide "reputable fashion photographer" makeup artist and stylist for the photo-shoot. We were also persuaded to use their photographer because they may not accept photos of our photographer if they thought they were not standard "fashion photos".

Those who made the "cut" over 150 people myself included were told to come the next day to sign a contract with the "agency" and to bring a first installment of $170, part of the photo shoot costs of a total of around $600.

In a nutshell they mislead me along with scores of unsuspecting persons, including children and parents that they can provide representation, bookings and model work for us.

A while after the photo shoot I received a call from the so called agency that I was to go to Michigan to do a promotion for Old Spice, it turned out to be a complete lie. I had a gut feeling that I had been scammed all along and I did not return the call.

Eversince then I did not hear again from the agency. My mother advised me to file a report with the Business Bureau but I am glad I came across this website to let everyone know about these FRAUDULENT people. I even came across another website that has a link to a lawsuit filed against this RIPOFF AGENCY.

Just in case they decide to start it up again or go to another city to exploit and ripoff other persons, now everone will know about their ripoff. I dont think their website is working anymore, so it seems that they have been put out of business. However as I said just in case they try to start back up, this report is for the sole purpose of making the public aware of their ripoff schemes.
