I almost fell for the Spirit Incentives "2 for 1" deal, where I could supposedly get a 2 for 1 deal on airfare, a cruise, or a hotel stay. Then I came to this site to check it out, and it turns out that my suspicious thoughts were right on.
Just read the packet.:
"12. This travel award in its entirety may not be modified unless authorized in writing by a coporate officer of Spirit Incentives. Spirit Incentives is the final authority on the interpretation of these rules."
If that doesn't get you wondering, then I'm not sure what will. Please, everybody... It's tempting to get a 2 for 1 cruise, but save yourself the trouble, and don't fall for it.
By the way, I received this offer from IBS (the bank who holds one of my credit cards), so there you have it... Even large corporate sponsorships disregard credibility.
