Caught Stealing from the customer - Mobil

I Cashier caught trying to pocket my money.

I asked Miguel for 35.00 on pump eleven
and picked up a red bull for $3.99
I handed him 1-20.00 dollar bill 2-10.00 dollar bills
and 2 5 dollar bills i thought did i give him too much?
I was able to answer my own question becuase instead of putting the cash in the register he hesitated and placed it on top of the register this gave me time to recount and catch his dishonesty by taking my extra money and short changing me.
