In violation of Penal Code, this company sold a puppy at only 7 weeks, 3 days. We did not know, but as breeders they did, that separation of a puppy from his mother and littermates at such a young age results in behaviorial problems, including agreesion and biting. They sold the puppy too early to save costs and make more profit of of the animal - to the extreme detriment of the animal and its owners. They played on our emotions. They refused to negotiate on price and sold the animal for $3,500. The next day her brothers were reduced in price to $2,000.
A few weeks later we experienced behavioral issues with the puppy. My wife received a bleeding bite for which she required medical attention. When we complained to the breeder, they said it was our fault, essentially, we should take the dog to puppy training. The puppy had not had all of its shots, however, and could not be around other dogs.
