My point is this: Research and get your new puppy from an AKC breeder. I take full responsibility for contacting an online middleman to find my new puppy. It was a huge mistake. They will say anything to get you to buy a puppy, including "someone else is interested in your puppy—if you want her send your money NOW" and "yes, you can talk with the breeder" which I never was allowed to do. Then, you never talk to the same person who sold you the puppy again. The rude receptionist asks questions and transfers you to whoever she thinks you should talk to. Yes, people are nice (except for the receptionist)—but they are middlemen trying to make a ton of money. I had lots of questions for the breeder, which I could not ask until the day we picked our puppy up. The answers I got were NOT what purebredbreeders.com told me whatsoever. The breeder was very honest and forthcoming. It's my fault—my trusting nature got me again. Don't let these middlemen get you.
